With only a few hours preparation and a slipshod final read through, we went on air, and providence looked kindly upon us. The first half hour of music was a flop as we ran into technical difficulties, but after nearly peeing my pants and hurling insults at the radio station staff, we were off! Congratulations to our spectacular cast.

The next show will be hitting the airwaves next Saturday at 7:30. Mr. Fulchino will send out the script soon (post suggestions in the comments of this post) and we'll start picking the cast early in the week.

Yours affably,

~ Adam Irish

Cast & Crew >> Escape: The Abomindable Snowman

Below is the cast and crew of our first production:

Paul >> Stefan Claypool

~> A veritable psycho by the end of the performance. Brilliant.

Lama >> Bobby Joe Smith

~> Bobby's nickname henceforth is simply "lama" -- Competition for the Dalai. Awesome. I'd say the strongest character in the show.

Allen >> Kofi Appiah

~> The happy-go-lucky tragedy. A tear-jerking death scene that will be impossible to match.

Frankie - Andy Gustafson

~> Andy's nickname henceforth is "Frankie" -- She knew they were doomed. Terrifying.

Manual Sound Effects >> Avery Finch

~> Avery's nickname henceforth is "cornflakes" -- Never have I heard cornflakes sound so much like snow. Some fancy footwork too. Superb.

Old News Correspondent >> Nick Spengler

~> Nick wrote up the great segment on 1953 Middlebury and national news. Bravo, sir.

Production, Sound and Music >> Christopher O'Connell

~> Christopher's nickname henceforth is "the man" or "our savior" -- Christopher is incredible. In so little time he was able to gather and apply the right music and sound effects to create an authentic and pretty darn good radio drama. Without him, we would have been screwed. Christopher is also the man responsible for getting the show and Podcast online. Hurrah for Christopher! To him, we are forever indebted.

And finally (and most importantly):

Director >> Adam Irish

Only Adam could take a half-dozen people who have never done radio drama before to an unfamilier studio still in disarray from re-modeling, and perform a truely broadcast worthy production with only a few hours work. Bravo.

SCRIPT >> Escape: The Abomindable Snowman

Here is the script for our first episode:

Escape: The Abomindable Snowman >> SCRIPT

Podcast: A quick how to

Ok,

The podcast is up and casting, however, until Apple approves our program, it will not be available from within iTunes Music Store.
